We would like to extend again our congratulations and best wishes to all our outgoing Third Year students on the completion of Junior Cycle. They have faced the unprecedented challenges the pandemic has brought positively and couragously and we are very proud of their achievements.
This year, due to the circumstances of COVID-19 and as previously advised, students completing Junior Cycle will not be issued with a Junior Cycle Profile of Achievement (JCPA) in the usual way.
Instead, they will receive two separate reports:
- A Junior Cycle School Report. This is produced and issued by the school. Click here to read again the letter issed in March with the details of the contents of the Junior Cycle School Report.
The Junior Cycle School Report for our outgoing Third Year students will be available on ePortal from 16.00 on Monday, 14th June 2021. The report will also be posted home on Monday.
Please note, as previously advised - reports on ePortal may not be viewable using the Safari browser on iOS-based devices. We recommend using an alternative browser such as Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge, or downloading the report and viewing using a PDF viewer app such as Adobe.
- A State Certificate of Completion of the Junior Cycle from the Department of Education. This certificate will state that the student has completed the Junior Cycle programme of study. For each student the certificate will include the list of subjects, short courses and/or priority learning units studied by him/her during their Junior Cycle programme.
We have yet to recieve confirmation from the DES on when the State Certificate will be issued.
Once again, we offer our sincere and heartfelt congratulations to all our outgoing Third Year students on their outstanding achievements in the face of great advertsity and wish you all a happy and healthy summer break.
We look forward to welcoming you back in September as Seniors.
