LC Results 2023 – Viewing Scripts & Appealing

Congratulations again to the Class of 2023 on their Leaving Cert results.

As you know the Leaving Cert results are available to access since Friday 25th August from 10am on the Candidate Self Service Portal. 
 
You have the option to view any exam scripts and written work submitted for the exams to help you to decide whether to appeal a certain result. This is available on the portal from 5pm Tue 29th August until 8pm Wed 30th Sept. You will need to complete the LC online application in order to view your scripts.
 
The majority of these scripted can be viewed online via the candidate portal from 9am Saturday 2nd September until 9am Sunday 3rd September. Those which cannot be viewed online can be viewed in person in Ratoath College. There will be a time slot allocated to those who apply to view these scripts to come into Ratoath College on Saturday 2nd Sept to view scripts which cannot be seen online.

The State Examinations Commission issued Candidate Information Guide 3 late yesterday evening. This covers more information about better understanding your results as well as information in relation to viewing scripts and appealing, including the key dates.

Please note the following important dates and times:

  •  12 noon, Tuesday 29th August 2023 – Candidates will be able to see their marks, including for each component.
  • Application to view scripts (online via the Candidate Portal):
    • Opens: 17.00, Tuesday 29th August 2023
    • Closes: 20.00, Wednesday 30th August 2023
  • Saturday & Sunday, 2nd and 3rd September 2023 – Viewing of scripts
  • Application to Appeal (online via the Candidate Portal):
    • Opens: 10.00, Sunday 3rd September 2023
    • Closes: 17.00, Monday 4th September 2023
