Students' Personal Possessions in School
Please note that the school is not liable for loss, theft or damage to students’ personal possessions while in school, including bikes, escooters and digital devices.
Electric Scooters
We are aware that there is an increase in students arriving to school on e-scooters. Legislation is promised by the Minister for Transport, Eamon Ryan TD to enact regulation of e-scooters and similar devices. Parents should be aware that, if there is an incident involving injury or damage to another person or their property whilst your child is driving on an e-scooter en route to school, there may be a consequence to you as a parent legally.
Whilst on the school premises, any student arriving to school on an escooter or similar device must switch the device off before entering the school gate and carry the device whilst on the schools premises. The device must not be used anywhere on school property without exception.
