Dear Parent/Guardian,
We are writing to you in relation to school retreats. As part of our school RE programme, all 1st year students will attend a retreat. These will take place over the coming weeks. The class caomhnoir or the Religion teacher will inform students about the exact date of their retreat.
These retreats will be facilitated by the Religion Department and will take place during the school day. The aim of the retreat is to allow students some time and space for reflection, personal development, and class bonding. The activities are non-denominational and allow full participation of students from different backgrounds.
On the day of the retreat, students will be in school at the normal time. Students should wear their PE uniform that day and bring in their drink and lunch as usual. The retreat takes up four class periods on the day, therefore students will still have three timetabled classes.
