Whole School Evaluation
Sincere thanks to you and to all students and staff for their positive engagement with the Inspectors over the last couple of weeks.
In order to facilitate the provision of feedback to the Board of Management, the Senior Leadership Team and the the whole staff of the school following the WSE, the Inspectorate has asked us to close the school next Friday, 24th November 2023. This is a standard practice for the Inspectorate following a WSE. As a result, there will be no school for students on that date.
The Inspectors’ report on the WSE will be published in due course.
Senior Cycle Options Information Evening
A reminder that the Senior Cycle Options information evening parents of students in Third Year will take place this coming Tuesday, 21st November 2023 at 19.00.
On the evening, information will be presented about the options available to Third Years for next September – including established Leaving Cert, Leaving Cert Applied and Transition Year.
Upcoming School Closures
A reminder that, in addition to the date above and per the school calendar, the school will be closed on Monday 4th & Tuesday 5th December (to facilitate staff training).
Mini-Mock Exams – 3rd & 6th Year Reports
Following the conclusion of the Mini-Mock exams on Monday, reports will be issued during the week of 4th December. We will advise Third and Sixth Year parents by text when reports are available on ePortal.
Parent-Teacher-Student Meetings
A reminder that PTS meetings for the following year groups take place before Christmas:
- First Year – Thursday, 30th November 2023, 16.15 – 18.45 (in person)
- Sixth Year – Thursday 14th December 2023, 16.15 – 18.45 (in person)
