We are writing to notify you that students will attend a one-day trip on Wednesday March 15th 2023. Students will be travelling to Causey Farm where they will be participating in a number of activities such as making traditional soda bread, ceili dancing, bog jumping, as well as having an opportunity to gain an insight into the workings of a farm and farm animals.
Students must have a signed permission slip in their Dialann (page 195) giving consent for them to attend. This must be shown to their Gaeilge teacher or Caomhnoir by Tuesesday March 14th.
On the day, students must attend in their full school PE uniform. They should bring a packed lunch and a full change of clothes. They will need to wear very old clothes for the bog jumping!
Students will leave at 09.00 after assembly and return to school by 15.30.
