Dear parent(s)/guardian(s),

We hope this letter finds you safe and well. We are writing to notify you that TY students will attend a two-day overnight trip on Monday September 25th & Tuesday September 26th, 2023. Students will be travelling to Lilliput Adventure Center in Westmeath where they will participate in a range of team building activities. Lilliput offers a multi-activity day that can include orienteering, capture the flag, rock-climbing, forest games, canoeing, assault course, digital scavenger hunt, brain bashers, bog hopping, aeroball. All activities, changing rooms and showers are on site.

There is indoor and outdoor camping accommodation available. All accommodation is shared accommodation. Each student must bring a sleeping bag and pillow. They can also bring a yoga mat if they wish. All students should bring a change of clothes (x3), old runners that will get wet, swimwear, towel and toiletries, sun block and medications (if necessary). While Lilliput provide breakfast, lunch and dinner they have advised us that students should also bring a packed lunch, snacks and water.

Students must have a signed permission slip on page 195 of their Dialann giving consent for them to attend. This must be shown to their caomhnoir in tutorial by Wednesday September 20th. Any student on minus points on Wednesday September 20th will be unable to attend the trip and will remain in school.

On the day, students must attend in full school PE uniform and should travel to and from Lilliput in their full school PE uniform. Students will leave school directly after assembly at 08.50 on Monday September 25th return to school Tuesday September 26th at an estimated time of 12.30.
