As you can see in the images above, it has once again been an exceptionally busy term in school, both inside the classroom and out. As we approach the final term of this school year, we congratulate everyone on their hard work and effort and wonderful achievements over the last 10 weeks.
Please see below some important updates ahead of the final term.
State Exams
We wish our Sixth Years and Third Years well on the final stretch before the state exams in June, and in particular our Sixth Years completing Oral Exams which begin tomorrow.
End of Year Assessments
End of Year Assessments for 1st Year and 5th Year students will take place the week beginning Monday 27th May 2024.
2nd Year parents note that, as 2nd Years are completing CBAs over the course of Terms 2 and 3, there will be no formal end of year assessments for 2nd Year students.
Sports Day & 5K Run
The rescheduled Sports Day and first annual Ratoath College 5K will take place on Friday 3rd May as part of a major fundraising initiative to renew and improve our sports and PE equipment and facilities. Click here to read more.
Some Dates for your Diary
Monday 8th April 2024 – Return to school.
Friday 3rd May 2024 – Sports Day & Ratoath College 5K.
Monday 6th and Tuesday 7th May 2024 – School Closed.
Tuesday 14th May 2024 – School ends at 14.30.
Wednesday 15th May 2024 – Prizegiving.
Friday 31st May 2024 – End of the academic year. School ends at 12.30.
