2023 saw the return of the exchange programme between Ratoath College and Liceo Scientifico Giacomo Ulivi di Parma. 

In February ,17 Ratoath College students of Italian went to Parma in Italy to spend one week with their Italian partners and host families, getting to experience Italian school life and life with an Italian family. 

Students enjoyed a number of activities such as a day trip to Florence, a visit to a Parmesan cheese factory and the spectacular Torrechiara Castle in the surrounding region. 

In April it was the turn of Ratoath students to host our Italian partners and they enjoyed trips to Croke Park, Howth and Glendalough.

It was a wonderful experience, improving their Italian language and cultural knowledge but more importantly making memories and friendships that will last a lifetime!
