Dear parent(s)/guardian(s),
We hope this letter finds you safe and well. We are writing to notify you that students will attend a one-day trip on Wednesday May 10th, 2023. Students will be travelling to the National Art Gallery in Dublin where they will be brought on a guided tour of the National Gallery of Ireland’s permanent and temporary collections. After their trip to the National Gallery students will take part in an Urban Challenge around St.Stephens Green and Temple Bar. The challenge will see students locating and discovering hidden gems from street art to traditional sculptural landmarks.
Students must have a signed permission slip in their Dialann (page 195) giving consent for them to attend. This must be shown to their Art teacher or Caomhnoir by Tuesday 9th May.
On the day, students must attend in their full PE uniform and should bring a packed lunch.
Students will leave at 9:00am after assembly and return to school by 15.30.
